INGREDIENTS

white sugar

or sub. brown sugar

lb
strawberries (fresh or frozen)

no stem
½
cup
blueberries (frehs or frozen)

or more

tablespoon
lemon juice
¼
cup
of water
INSTRUCTIONS
Cut strawberries in quarters and place them in a medium pot.
Add all the rest ingredients to the pot over medium heat.
Stir until the sugar dissolves in the sauce.
Once the mix starts to boil, reduce the heat to medium-low and cover.
Let simmer for 10 minutes, stir every 3 or so minutes.
Uncover and shut off the heat.
Let cool down. The sauce will start thickening.
Serve warm or cold on pancakes, waffles, ice cream, or any other dish that will go well with this yummy sauce.
NOTES
Berries: You can use both fresh or frozen berries for the sauce. For this recipe, we've used fresh strawberries and frozen blueberries.
