1 ½ cup cornflour ½ cups flour , gluten free flour for baking, if desired ⅔ cup sugar 1 tablespoon baking powder ½ teaspoon salt ⅓ cup oil 3 tablespoon melted butter 1 tablespoon honey 2 eggs , beaten 1 ¼ cups milk
Whisk together sugar, baking powder, cornflour, flour, and salt. Set aside.
In a separate bowl, beat the eggs and add the oil, melted butter, honey, and milk. Pour the wet ingredients into dry ingredients. Whisk to combine.
Pour everything into a greased 8 or 9-inch round pan. Bake in the oven for 35 minutes at 350º F.
Serve with butter and maple syrup or add as a side to chilis, stews, soups.
