I’m the blogger, recipe developer, photographer, and travel junkie behind the scenes here at The Yummy Bowl. This blog has grown and flourished in so many beautiful ways, becoming an integral part of my life.
I completely grasp the challenges of preparing a nutritious meal after a lengthy workday. My goal is to develop new recipes with this in mind, ensuring they are both effortless and enjoyable for everyone! The recipes you'll find here are packed with flavor, healthier and made from scratch.
Everyone's ''healthy'' eating is different, and what you'll find here is that recipes are made using real ingredients, lots of veggies and only a few canned items. I also share gluten free baking recipes, that you can find in my Desserts section.
I prefer not to categorize food as inherently good or bad. Instead, I advocate for a balanced approach, where everything is enjoyed in moderation and tailored to meet your dietary requirements. Tuning in to your body's signals is key. Always prioritize listening to what it needs.
If you're new here, explore the recipe index for inspiration on what to prepare in your kitchen. Discover quick, family-friendly recipes that can be made in 30 minutes or less, fostering connection in busy families and infusing bold, fresh flavors into your dinner routine.
I make an effort to provide a variety of substitutions, considering different allergies or intolerances, to ensure the recipe can be adapted to meet various dietary needs.
I do not provide medical aid or nutrition advice for health or disease nor do I claim to be a doctor or dietitian.
My promise to you:
- Most of the recipes are made with real food and lots of fresh veggies. However, I do love a good healthy amount of cheese in my food, especially casseroles. You'll not find heavily processed and only a few canned ingredients.
- I provide detailed recipe instructions, process shots, tips, and substitutions so you can easily adapt each recipe to your needs.
- You won't find any complex ingredients either (unless it is necessary) that you have to chase through the whole town to get.
Join our free Facebook Group that we've created with Cookrita to share our favorite yummy one-pot, skillet, and casserole recipes.
Feel free to message me directly or leave your questions in the comment section under posts. I'd love to help you with any cooking questions you may have!
I am also always here for any questions you may have about blogging (that I love so much!), where and how to start, and how to make an income that will support you and your family. About The Recipes
So what other recipes you can find here?
I've been experimenting with some old-school family recipes that I got from my mom and grandma. My readers especially love this cabbage pie, cabbage roll casserole, chicken zucchini casserole and cabbage cucumber salad.
These recipes are inspired by Estonian, Ukrainian, and Russian culture, and my own recipes are collected from my travels to different parts of the world.
Be on the lookout for these. I can't wait to share more of these with you!
